What Shivam Home Decor does with the information you give us when ordering, written to reflect Indian data protection law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000.
What we collect
- Name, delivery address, PIN code, phone number and email address — needed to deliver an order and contact you about it.
- Order contents and order history.
- A GSTIN, only if you give us one so an invoice can be raised against it.
- Payment confirmation. For UPI we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded; we never receive or store your UPI PIN, card numbers or banking credentials.
- Standard technical information sent by your browser.
Cookies
Essential cookies only, so the cart and checkout work. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers needed to operate the store, deliver orders, process payments and provide hosting, or where the law requires it — which for a GST-registered business includes tax records. Courier partners receive your name, address and phone number. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as reasonably necessary for returns and enquiries, and for as long as tax and other law requires.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of anything we are not required to keep — note that GST invoice records must be retained by law. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it. Write from the email used on the order to [email protected].

They are handled directly by the person responsible for operating Shivam Home Decor. We have not appointed a separate named officer.
